His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, First deputy prime minister of Bahrain, has assured the importance of Gulf Engineering Union, which is represented by gulf engineering committees that contribute to develop the engineering sector and engineering on GCC level.
This statement came during reception of secretary general of GEU, Eng. Kamal Bin Abdullah Al Hamad alongside with Bahrain Society of Engineers’ president, Eng. Massud Al-Harmi.
The GEU Secretary General has made a presentation of the plans and programs that union is willing to make through next year, which contributes to give necessary support and help to the gulf engineer in any major through following the latest hits in theory and practice.
During the meeting, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Khalid bin Abdullah has complemented the noble aims which GEU was based on as an association of gulf engineering societies, which includes Bahrain Society of Engineers. He also greeted the role that union is making to coordinate, support and accomplish cooperation in gulf engineering work.
At the end, secretary general of GEU, Eng. Kamal Bin Abdullah Al Hamad gave His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Khalid bin Abdullah a plaque of honorary membership, assuring that this gift is only a recognition from GEU toward the rule that His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Khalid bin Abdullah was making through the great contributions to develop engineering profession in Bahrain and Arab World in general.
